I’ve never been to Europe and would really like to go. In particular, I’d like to visit or have an extended stay in England, Scotland, Ireland, France, and maybe Austria and Denmark (they have delicious cookies).

I like to avoid big cities because of the big city problems like big crowds and big attitudes, but would definitely like to see the capitals for a couple of days and then spend the rest of the time outside the city where the people are generally friendlier and more welcoming (at least in my mind).

The problem, though, with Europe is there total disregard for free speech. In some countries (Germany, England) you can be arrested for whatever they deem “hate” speech, which can be as much as disagreeing with someone or their lifestyle or being against refugee immigration. It’s quite sad, really.

Still, I’d love to see the beautiful architecture with my wife. And maybe stop by a few coffee shops and take in the view.
